Attention Deficit Disorder with or without Hyperactivity (ADHD) can greatly disrupt a child's daily life, affecting their ability to concentrate, stay still and succeed academically. We understand the unique challenges these children face and we offer specialized solutions through neurofeedback.
What is neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive method that helps train the brain to regulate its own brain waves. Using sensors placed on the scalp, we measure the electrical activity of the brain while the child watches a movie or plays a video game designed specifically for this training. When the brain waves reach an optimal state, the child receives a visual or sound reward, encouraging their brain to maintain this state.
How does this help children with ADHD?
Neurofeedback sessions aim to improve attention regulation and reduce impulsivity and hyperactivity, common symptoms of ADHD. Progress is often visible in the child's daily behaviors, such as better attention in class, reduced impulsive interruptions, and improved social interaction.
